Terms and Conditions: draw to win a Jennian Home
- All customers of ASB Bank Limited (ASB) who have drawn down a loan for residential purposes by midnight on 30th April 2008 are automatically entered into the prize draw. Home loans for business, commercial or rural purposes are excluded. Each eligible residential home loan will receive one entry into the draw.
- There is one prize of a home with 3 bedrooms, study and double garage, built by Jennian Homes Counties Limited (Jennian Homes) and situated at Lot 12, Anselmi Ridge, Pukekohe. The prize includes the land comprised in certificate of title 294677, house, landscaping, flooring/carpets; drapes/blinds; kitchen appliances comprising oven, hob and dishwasher; 7 year Master Builders Guarantee, and one year Jennian Home Guarantee.
- The prize also includes conveyancing and legal costs associated with transferring ownership of the house from ASB to the winner, full replacement home insurance and contents insurance up to a maximum of $100,000 for one year (subject in each case to the winner meeting ASB's standard insurance acceptance criteria), and the annual levies payable to The Anselmi Ridge Owners' Society Incorporated for one year.
- The prize does not include furnishings, moving costs, or costs associated with on-selling or mortgaging the property. All such costs and any other costs that have not been specified above will be the responsibility of the winner.
- All eligible entries will go into the draw to be held on Wednesday 14th May 2008. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The winner will be notified on or before Friday 16th May 2008 by mail or telephone at the address or phone number held on file by ASB. Failure to provide up to date contact details may result in the prize being redrawn. If a customer whose name has been drawn cannot be contacted within 48 hours, a further draw will be made.
- The prize will be handed over to the winner after the house has received a full code compliance certificate from the local council.
- The winner must be able to travel to the house on Friday 30th May 2008 in order to be handed the keys of the house. This date may be extended if the code compliance certificate for the house is not available on that date.
- If the winner resides outside Auckland, ASB may, at its discretion, pay the reasonable travel and accommodation costs incurred by the winner in travelling to Auckland.
- By accepting the prize the winner agrees to permit ASB and Jennian Holdings Limited to use the winner's name and images for promotional purposes, to participate in any publicity arrangements that ASB may require in relation to this competition and to sign any documentation required to be signed by a transferee of the land and the owner of the house (as required by Jennian Homes). ASB may, at its discretion, pay the reasonable costs incurred by the winner in participating in the promotional and publicity arrangements.
- The prize is not transferable.
- To the extent permitted by law, ASB, its employees and agents will not be liable for any claims, damages, injuries, costs and expenses suffered, sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential) as a result of, or arising out of, or in any way connected with this competition and/or the prize. Without limiting the foregoing ASB will not be liable for:
- any defects in the house;
- any changes in the specifications for the house, including any changes made in order to comply with any building or resource consents; or
- any costs relating to the house or land beyond those expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions.
- any defects in the house;
- ASB reserves the right to refuse to award a prize where a customer whose name has been drawn is in breach of any of the terms of that customer's home loan with ASB.
- Competition information will be held by ASB, ASB Bank Centre, 135 Albert St, Auckland.
- Employees of ASB, its associated companies, agencies and their immediate families are not eligible to enter this draw.
- ASB Bank Limited home loan criteria apply. An application fee of up to $500, a low equity fee and a low doc. fee may also apply.
