Builder's Blog Update - Week 21

The interior of the ASB home is nearing completion with only the plumbers to complete their fit off, electricians to liven the power, painters to complete any touch ups along with wallpapering to feature areas and it will then be up to the cleaners to weave their magic and make it sparkle.

Builder's Blog Update - Week 20

Progress has been good this week with the undertile heating installed, floor tiling completed and the house now ready for a final fit off by the subtrades such as electricians, plumbers, ventilation system, gas fitter, fire installer.

Builder's Blog Update - Week 19

Interior painting has been completed on the ASB home and it's now time for the subtrades to begin the installation of the internal fittings leading through to the final fit off by subtrades. The kitchen and bench units are now being installed, and ready for the installation of the undertile heating. The undertile heating is screed, (which means to put a floor leveling compound over the wiring ready for tiling) into the tiled areas ready for the floor tiling to commence.

Builder's Blog Update - Week 18

Good progress has been made on the interior of the ASB home this week with the painters completing the ceilings and first coats on the internal walls. The plan is to start applying top coats to the walls over the weekend and with the trim work (skirtings and architraves) being completed early next week.

Builder's Blog Update - Week 17

This week the gib board plasterers have completed the internal plastering of the home, and the painters are poised to attack. Once the plasterers finish, all walls are checked with flood lights which helps pick up any imperfections in the finish that may have not been picked up normally. When this check is completed and any areas needed attention is addressed, the job is then passed to the painters to carry on with.
