Builder's Blog Update - week 15
The builders are now nearing completion and the plasterers are plastering the interior, most of the outside has been painted; we entered a bit of a stodgy stage this week. Although things are progressing, the pace seems slow and in comparison with previous weeks where things changed daily, now we have come to the finishing stage where even the guys are working hard, progress seems to drag.
Once we pass the painting stage, all hell breaks loose and completion comes pretty quick. We have committed ourselves to complete the home including landscaping and final sign off from the Franklin District Council by the end of March. So fingers crossed we are ready then, a little bit of nail biting pressure will go on I am sure!
This week saw the linings completed and builders finishing interior trim work along with painters working on the exterior.
Next week on the interior, the plasterers will continue. On the exterior, we will start the block work for terraces and blade walls.
Watch the exterior over the next 6 weeks. Monitor the transition from a lonely house on a site in the Anselmi Ridge Subdivision to a great home on an awesomely landscaped section in one of Auckland’s top subdivisions comes together.
