Builder's Blog Update - week 6
Not a lot of action this week, however we have a wall up!
The concrete block wall on the garage boundary has been built, inspected by the Franklin District Council to ensure we did actually put the reinforcing steel in the wall and it is in the right position! The wall has now been filled with concrete to tie everything together and give it strength.
Roger Williamson and his team are now into the house drains which will also be inspected by the Franklin District Council before being backfilled. The drainage inspection will be inspection number 5 from the Council so far and we have only got a floor down!
With the foundations, house floor, block walls and drainage now 100% complete we are ready to commence framing. These are scheduled to be delivered by Carters on Wednesday morning first load and the Davies boys will be underway.
